After a few weeks you can if you wish replace the hydrogen peroxide swishing with salt in warm water ( 1 teaspoon salt to 1 cup warm water). Salt kills bacteria as well and the warm water helps pull more out of your mouth. You can do this loose teeth treatment or loose teeth home remedy fix daily or weekly after your teeth have set themselves in place tight again.

You should first before doing this treatment check with your dentist to make sure it would be fine as you may have dental work that would react badly to the treatment.

New research has shown that coffee helps you recover from exercise faster! Just by drinking a few cups of coffee with some carbohydrates, which is usually eaten by athletes just following their workouts, will boosts muscle recovery up to a whopping 60 percent and apparently solves a problem that has eluted sports physiologists until now. This study was published in the Journal of Applied Physiology and states has found a solution designed to help athletes recover faster, coffee and carbs!

If an athlete has more fuel in the tank, they will go further. What they have done is give them 50-60 percent more fuel. The athletes we asked to ingest caffeine in the form of coffee, which has no real nutritional benefit, but the results were astounding.

In this case study the athletes were told to cycle to exhaustion before eating a carbohydrate sports drink, bar or gel, along with a high caffeine dose. The caffeine dosage was the equivalent of five to six cups of strong brewed coffee immediately after the exercise routine. They found that the amount of carbohydrates that could be stored by the muscles when ingested combined with the higher caffeine dosage, was about 60 percent higher than with just carbohydrates alone. If you have 60 percent more fuel there for your next day’s weight lifting routine, Bodybuilding, running, cycling or hockey game, there is no question at all, that you would be able to go further or faster than usual.

Caffeine does have a wonderful effect on both short-term endurance and strength. It is a remarkable drug that affects both ends of the spectrum. Even if you do not want to drink 5-6 cups of coffee with your carbohydrates, you will still benefit even from 2 cups of coffee or just take a caffeine supplement. Your training will take on a whole new level using this new found help to recover faster. The benefits of coffee or caffeine just seem to keep growing!

Having had to deal with foot pain or pains in the bottom of my feet and Achilles Heel areas, I can help you with a few good home remedies I used. First off, if you are having serious foot pain in the actual bone as each foot has 24 bones and well over 100 muscles, you should go see your doctor. If your pain is in the muscles or tendons then you should still see your doctor, but there is also a few home remedies you can try.

I am not talking treating foot situations as bunions and hammertoes, but problems as very sore areas on the bottom of your feet, like sharp stinging, pulling, painful inflammatory like pain. This is called Plantar fasciitis and is a painful inflammatory  process of the plantar fascia, the actual connective tissue on the sole or bottom surface of the foot. Mine even traveled into my ankle areas, so it was very painful to walk. This kind of foot problem can just start out of nowhere, one day all is fine the next day, your feet hurt like hell and you feel like you are 100 years old. It gets kinda scary when you cannot walk, you mind freaks out and start to think of the problems with the feet and the possible chance it will never go away.

This type of foot problem can arise from a few different things such as:

  • Weight Gain
  • Walking in bare-feet
  • Thinning of the pad of fat on bottom of the foottendinitis
  • neuritis
  • bursitis
  • arthritis
  • stress fracture
  • Wearing poor fitting shoes

The number one cause of heel pain and general foot pain is plantar fasciitis, which is usually the worst first in the morning. This pain can last all day and will usually can worse if not treated. I believe my foot pain began as a results of my heavy weight training, in which I did heavy squats for years and I have to figure out a way to cure this problem myself as my doctor was of little help.

This is what I did to help my foot pain go away and a few of my friends have tried my remedy as they had similar problems and it also worked for them. Your pain will not go away over night, it will take a little time and you must stick with the treatment even a little after you are fine.

Here is what I did to treat my foot pain:

  • Soak your feet in a hot bath 2 to 3 times daily. You can message the foot pain area as you soak to bring in more blood to the area.
  • Stretch your feet 2  to 3 times daily. To stretch your feet put your foot against a wall or poll so your foot will be pointing up, now lean forward to feel the stretch in the foot and a Achilles Heel area. You have to hold the stretch on each foot for at least 5 minutes.
  • Wear thick socks, this helps to pad the feet a little.
  • Use gel foot insoles pads in your shoes to again keep the foot padded. This can greatly reduce the pain as you are healing.
  • If your feet hurt to bad walking around in your home, wrap your feet with tension bandages found at any drugstore. This will again cushion your feet and help keep them warm.

This home remedy foot pain treatment really works! You must stick with it if you want your feet to heal. I also recommend you drink lots of water and take electrolytes (powder is best) This will actually help keep water in you, therefore filling the foot pad area for better cushioning, less pain and faster healing. I found out this works by accident. Every time I would load up with electrolytes before working out, my foot pains reduced.

Give this home remedy a try and see if it works for you. If after a few months your foot pain has not gone away or reduced greatly, go see a professional foot care expert.

This is all very good news to bodybuilder’s or weight lifters looking for performance enhancing substances that are easy on the wallet.

In another coffee research study, it was reported that people taking caffeine or coffee before a weight training session allowed them to use up to five more pounds than normal on the same bench press exercise. Being able to use more weight for more reps, for longer periods will definitely put the muscle building factor in your favor!

We also see that the University of Georgia reported that taking caffeine in whatever form helped to lower delayed-onset muscle soreness after leg workouts that used negative training principal. I can still remember the days after heavy leg training and barely being able to walk normal, I did not drink coffee, nor take caffeine supplements at that time.

The key to getting all these benefits is to either take a caffeine pill, like Vivarin or No Doze, or even better yet, just drink a strong cup or two of strong coffee, which is about the equivalent of 200 mg of caffeine. Make sure you do this about 30 – 60 minutes before your weight training session. You should also make sure to take in extra water and electrolytes to off set the coffee/caffeine which can make you lose these important items needed for workouts.

Melatonin Effective Remedy For Better Sleep

Natural melatonin levels do slowly drop with a persons age and can affect your sleep patterns creating insomnia. Some older adults will make very small amounts of melatonin or in some cases none at all. For most people having occasional bouts of insomnia is normal, but still can be very annoying to deal with. Taking melatonin is easy and effective and you can buy melatonin supplements without a prescription, from most health food stores, most drugstores and other places that sell Herbs, Vitamins and Mineral supplements, also can buy online.

Melatonin should be taken only in its man made form, so always purchase from a reputable company. The usual dosages that are taken about one hour before bedtime are, 1mg to 5mg. Melatonin is a supplement that has help many people, deal with sleep issues as insomnia, as in most cases melatonin supplements are very safe to use in low doses for short term and long term use. As with any supplement you should of course talk with your doctor about taking them.

I myself started to get very bad insomnia when I first started bodybuilding some 25 years ago and was at my wits end trying every sleep remedy I could find, hoping this time around it would work. Most sleep remedies only seemed to work off and on until I discovered melatonin. Just to be clear, I was already taking the usual high dosage Calcium and Magnesium supplements with vitamin D3 and some Flax Oil for absorption, but that was not good enough, as after heavy weight lifting in the evening, getting to sleep was very hard. Then I started adding in melatonin about one hour before bedtime, by dissolving the supplement under my tongue and holding it there for at least 15-20 min. I started with a 3mg dosage nightly and quickly moved up to 5mg as 3mg was just not enough for me. I have been taking 5mg of melatonin every single night for the last 15 years or so and I sleep great no matter what I do.

I have heard of some people taking higher dosages of melatonin up around the 20mg dosage level, but I would never suggest going this high without your doctors consent. Melatonin can have some side effects that include:

  • Lowering your body temperature.
  • Sleepiness.
  • Giving you vivid dreams.
  • Morning grogginess.
  • Small blood pressure changes.

If you get any of these side effects, they will go away when you stop taking the melatonin supplement. I myself have had zero side effects from taking melatonin and will continue to use this excellent sleep aid supplement. There is also some evidence that melatonin may make the immune system stronger, slow the aging process and possible even slow the spreads of cancer, which certainly is good news.
